Fields is doubtful to play against the New Orleans Saints and wore a glove over his right hand to help him grip the football. His ability to grip the football is paramount for his return, which he says is not at full strength. The Bears have not committed to a timeline for his return.

Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Los Angeles Rams due to a right calf injury. Coach Zac Taylor said that Burrow could potentially be a game-time decision. If Burrow can't play, Jake Browning is expected to make his first career NFL start. The Bengals also worked out Trace McSorley and AJ McCarron to bolster their depth at quarterback.
