Colts TE Jelani Woods Placed on Season-Ending IR
The Indianapolis Colts have placed tight end Jelani Woods on season-ending injured reserve after he underwent surgery for turf toe. This marks a challenging period for Woods, who also missed the entirety of the previous season due to a hamstring injury, resulting in two consecutive years without playing. In his absence, tight ends Kylen Granson and Mo Alie-Cox are expected to step up and fill the gap left by Woods.

Colts TE Mo Alie-Cox out of concussion protocol
Tight end Mo Alie-Cox has cleared the NFL concussion protocol and will be available to play in the Colts' upcoming game against the Jaguars. Alie-Cox sustained a concussion in last week's victory over the Titans, becoming the sixth Colts player since Week 1 to do so. The Colts are also getting healthier with left tackle Bernhard Raimann and defensive end Kwity Paye cleared from protocol. Quarterback Anthony Richardson has been placed on injured reserve with a shoulder injury, and right tackle Braden Smith will also miss the game.

Colts TEs Kylen Granson, Andrew Ogletree, Mo Alie-Cox
Kylen Granson led Colts TEs with 3 targets in Sunday's win over the Titans, but he saw negative development for his role. Andrew Ogletree led the position in snaps, playing 40 to Granson's 26, according to Pro Football Focus. Granson still led in routes, but that lead shrank to 12-9 -- with TE Mo Alie-Cox adding 7 routes. That 42.9% route rate marked a second straight dip vs. 56.7% in Week 4 and 67.3% in Week 3. Ogletree added 2-16 receiving on 2 targets, and Alie-Cox caught his lone target for 17 yards. With TE Jelani Woods still due back from IR soon, it's tough to see any Colts TE as worth rostering in redraft leagues right now.
